Fill a large jar with distilled water (the jar needs to be half full).
Add Optiphen (preservative) to water and mix well.
Sprinkle Nah on top of water and let is sit for about 20 minutes.
Shake it REALLY hard until the NaH is dissolved.

(1) Use a preservative, unless you plan to make a fresh gel every week and wish to avoid any preservatives. It is best to store DIY lotions in the refrigerator. If you are using the HA gel to add to another product, you do not need preservative, but the final product does need preservative unless you are using it within a week.
