Mesh size: 100% through 100, 95% though 200 (US standard sieve) - Ultra-fine powder. Our 100% pure L-Ascorbic Acid is an ultra- fine powder. It feels like ICING SUGAR. It does not require grinding and will EASILY dissolve in water up to 25% , it also disperses very well in a silicone base.

Suggested percentage: 10% to 15% (20% if you can handle it)
Stability: L-Ascorbic Acid is very unstable. As soon as you put it in water, it will start oxidizing. It is best used fresh every day. It can be made substantially more stable if your formula contains a large percentage of ethanol. Ferulic Acid will also help stabilize it.

light and moisture!

The most common form of topical vitamin c is L-Ascorbic acid. Our L-Ascorbic acid comes as a fine powder. It is used as an antioxidant, for collagen production, in lightening & brightening formulations, to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and to repair and protect against sun damage.
