"Not only does Silicone gel DM help deliver instant sensory gratification, it also provides other important performance properties such as thickening in anhydrous formulations and in the oil phase of emulsions. It also acts as a carrier for fragrances in shower conditioners/shower body lotions to enhance fragrance deposition and longevity after the wash.

Silicone gel DM is a non-emulsifying silicone copolymer network dispersed in dimethicone that yields clear gels. With swollen silicone particles of about 40 microns, Silicone gel DM is perceived as silky, with a cushioning effect. The material spreads readily during application and provides a long-lasting, silky feel without residue.

Silicone gel DM is very versatile, with applicability for moisturizing and anti-aging creams and lotions, color cosmetics, sunscreens, and shaving products. The performance properties of Silicone gel DM make it a preferred product for skin care wash-off conditioners.

In addition to providing a unique sensory experience, both during and after use, Silicone gel DM acts as a carrier for fragrances to enhance fragrance deposition and longevity after the wash. Gel-silicone can also be formulated in a wide range of hair care products such as rinse-off and leave-on conditioners.

Silicone gel DM is easy to incorporate into formulations and is compatible with most commonly used cosmetic ingredients. It is stable across a broad pH range, enabling formation of products with high or low pH.
